A new list of resolutions not to break.Or at least, that's what I try to tell myself. Last year I did pretty well so this year I might be able te keep all of my resolutions, right?
1. Inspired by De Groene Meisjes I want to produce less waste. I haven't quite figured out yet how to tackle this particular subject, but I'll get the hang of it sometime this year. I'll probably blog about my experiences somewhere, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested. Or, go over to De Groene Meisjes' blog to get just as inspired as I am.
2. Be more active... I want to do more. More for veganism, more for animal rights. What I have in mind will come to your attention soon enough I hope. But in the mean time, I want to support BE Vegan, Bite Back and Animal Rights in the best ways I can.
3. Move! Goddamn, I can't wait. Waking up to the sound of hideous techno again... Cleaning up your neighbours' trash, again... Especially that last part bothers the hell out of me. I'm tired of removing cigarettes from my lawn, removing pieces of chicken (EW, I KNOW) from my garden. There's more to this list but I'm not capable of shaming people on my blog. Plus, I feel like if I start ranting, I might never end.
4. Be more healthy. Cliché, I know. But going vegan and letting go of sugar has taught me a great deal about how good I can feel in my own body, despite my thyroid condition. So this year I'm trying the sugar thing again. And I'm going to start to run again and maybe even start working out.
I know, there's only four of them. But four resolutions are a lot harder not to keep than let say fourteen resolutions. So hopefully by this time next year, I'm writing this from my desk in Ghent all sporty spice.
